MESQUITE WAVE

Mesquite Wave Woodwork opened up shop in late 2019. What initially started as a hobby quickly morphed into an obsession for making creative and quality products. We are fortunate to use Mesquite from surrounding South Texas ranches as our main source in production. Known as Texas Ironwood, its density along with the beautiful red and gold burling, make it a favorite for handcrafts and furnishing. It often features intricate grain patterns, knots, and streaks, which can be reminiscent of the flowing, repetitive patterns seen in ocean waves. In addition, Mesquite wood is associated with strength, resilience, and longevity, much like the enduring nature of the ocean waves that have persisted for millennia.
